(ArcPro version 3.2.2)
To create points using a list of addresses, prepare an Excel table first breaking apart house number/street name, City, State, Zip Code.
In ArcPro create a new map and make sure to switch to ArcGIS Online if several Portals are active. Make sure Geoprocessing toolbox is opened.
1 – Search for “Geocode Addresses”
2 – Connect to the table with prepared list of addresses. NOTE: output must be in the database format. Once the Address Locator (ArcGIS World Geocoding Service) is selected, more fields will be available to fill out.
NOTE: Run “Estimate Credits” before running the tool.
